Latest Statistics from the U.S. State Department on Human Trafficking

As many as 17,500 people a year are brought across U.S. Borders (Trafficked)

The U.S. State Department estimates 600,000 to 800,000 are trafficked across international borders.

• Many people that are trafficked are held against their will. Used in prostitution and illegal enterprises. Many are young women that are used in the sex industry. Please pray for those who have no voice. Held against their will. They need to be freed.

• Let’s pray for Law Enforcement world-wide as they work to fight the crime of human trafficking and to help free those held against their will.

• Let’s pray for stricter enforcement of the 2000 anti-trafficking law: The End Demand for Sex Trafficking Act.

• Let’s pray for our governmental leaders that they will work harder to secure our borders against illegal enterprises. And to enact legislation that has “real bite,” that can bring stiffer penalties under law for those involved in the trafficking industry.

• That God will reveal Himself to all those in “bondage.” They can be freed in Jesus’ name.
